DIY Reflective Board

I am a poor chap, thus no money to buy a flashlight or reflective board, however I come across this article, as I want like to do some outdoor shots, will this be effective. http://www.diyphotography.net/homestudio/blz/cheap-diy-reflector-stand

It's only a reflector stand. You will still need to buy the collapsible reflector panel. Those reflectors for other purposes, eg cars etc.. may not have correct colour. You might need to experiment with them to see if they're suitable.
