Lol sorry for bumping this thread up....

Tried making this, and wow, it made a lot of difference. I was just thinking, though, instead of securing with rubber band, maybe can try stapling it together so that it's easier to put on and off. Well that's what I did anyway ;D

Actually you can try using adhesive-backed velcro
