Price on amazon japan today is ¥79245 (~S$1270).
I've been monitoring for the last 2 weeks and price fluctuates everyday, but sort of stabilised at this range the last 2 days.
of course, they don't ship direct to SG, have to forward it by tenso/vpost and pay shipping & gst.
or have a friend with a japanese address who's coming to SG.
if you trust shipping by tenso/vpost, the total in shipping + gst would be around S$1400.

Anyone thinking of buying from amazon Japan, can buy together? Searching high and low for this lens locally and cannot find it. Guess have to order from oversea.

anyway, the ebay US$1199 deal is subject to GST add-on, legally-speaking.

Something wrong with the maths here
Usd1199 x 1.07 = usd 1283.
Today's usd to sgd ex rate is 1.26. Most credit cards and PayPal will charge more. So let's say 1.27.
Usd 1283 x 1.27 = sgd 1629. How did you get sgd 1510?

getting ot. if panasonic singapore can't get the stock in soon, people are gonna consider buying from overseas very soon.
yep... i have the lens under my "watch" list in ebay... very tempted to pull the tigger... if some extra cash comes my way in my next paycheck, i'm not going to wait for panny singapore... I have events and a trip in August... really want this lens for video. My 14-54 mk II is ok, but breaths too much when i AF during video.. and NO OIS..

After 7% GST: sgd1616.49
The postman will collect from you on the spot.
After paypal/credit card charges/etc at around 2%: sgd$1648.80
