i just got back my prints from da Vinci Picture (Fujifilm) @ sembawang MRT.
it's my 1st batch of DSLR prints and I was so looking forward to it.
I didn't mind spending a bit more and got the jumbo size, cos the lady there told me my photos won't get cropped that way.
but it didn't turn out the way i'd expected. some of the photos were off-colour (if that's at all a term to use for prints that doesn't match the colour of your digital photo), and ALL of them were cropped a bit!
Not that it affected the main object in the photo very much, but it certainly did affect me! since the lady told me: "now everyone is going for JUMBO size photos, cos we don't crop those"
YEAH RIGHT.
I read up some threads in clubsnap and decided that Fujifilm was the way to go, but could it be due to the inadequacy of skills that led to such print quality?
anyone had such bad experiences before?
anyway, i'm thinking i'll pop by that shop tmr and try to do a refund or a reprint.
