Any one knows why the reflection of lights is skewed to one side? mine one has the same problem? because of long exposure and the globe is turning? or lens distortion?

Now that you mention it, yes, you are right. The reflected lights look slanted.

No explanation, unless it was a stitched picture.

I never found out why, even though I first noticed it in night86mare's photo.

It was a single picture, not a stitched picture. I also don't know why.

i think is because the moving water which reflecting the light caused the slanted reflection.
due to long exposure, any movement carrying a slight density of light will be recorded by the camera sensor, so i am guessing as the water is moving towards the right direction, proved by all our pictures showing the skewed reflection towards the same direction.

IMHO. any pros out there agree??

That looks interesting too. What zoom lens were you using?
I find your #02 a bit too much sky with nothing interesting in there. What was your focus for that picture?

Mine's a fujiflim prosumer bridge camera...Not a DSLR that can fit lens. I wasn't using zoom for the shot. I tried to shoot it upside down, but unable to. If you rotate the image, you should see what i mean...why my suspicions were aroused.

#01 and #02 is to give people the impression that the whole sky was cloudy at the time..but the other pics says otherwise.

Thanks! But I haven't decided where to cut it off so that the picture looks more balanced. At the moment there seems to be a lot of unnecessary on the right, with the leading lines of the light going towards an empty space, not exactly heading towards CBD unless I crop it... somehow :dunno:

Any suggestion is welcomed

Don't mind me saying this, but the 1st picture is very blue ...

The 2nd one, looks good, and with the clouds, somehow it feels quite dramatic to me.
