Hi Dingaroo,

No problem to walk around at 8am to 11am, most of the shop here open around 10am but eating store open very early there. Try to meet up at Kampong Glam cafe just at the junction of Bussorah & Baghad St they got nice muslim food but no air-con hahaha..

You guys are most welcome from all the shop owners here including me too.

Hope to see you guys past by my shop and enjoy shooting.

I miss the last outing with you, hope to join you soon.

Please note that the concept of Standby list is that should any of the Shooters pull out, the first person in the Standby list will be slotted in the Shooters roster. Standby doesn't mean you are invited to the shoot. This is because I'm keeping the group small, as we are moving around to shoot, not shooting at one location, which is easier to handle. Hope you all understand the condition of the shoot.

Sadly, the event is full, unless we have drop outs in the first 12 ... Then those in the reserve list will get pushed up, and you might stand a chance to go in too. But no worries, 2 weeks time on 30th May is another shoot coming up in the Civic District. So keep an eye out!

Hi folks.

Just some administrative stuff before the shoot.

Our shoot is on this coming Saturday, 15th May 2010, and we'll meet at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaves Cafe at Raffles Hospital. The cafe is located at where the gloved pointer is at on the map. Please see map below for the location of the hospital. (it's just next to the Bugis MRT station entrance/exit)

For very new newbies, please bring along your camera manual, as I don't know every single camera out there. And since it is your duty to master the camera itself, will be good to read up the night before the shoot. Yes, ladies and gentleman, homework. Hehehehee.

And for that same group, I will try to conduct a short tutorial on exposure as we walk, so you better understand the concept of Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO, and how to make use of them to your advantage to take pictures. No guarantee that you'll straightaway take stunning pictures, but composition is something you have to learn and observe. Would appreciate the seniors to help guide the newbies along as well. Let's make them feel *LOVED*! Hehehehe.

As indicated, we will meet up at 7.30 am, and set off at 8.00am sharp.

I would appreciate if everyone could PM (Private Message) me their real name and phone number, so I can update everyone on the GO or NO GO status of the walkabout on that day at 6.00am. In case you are late, or lost, please contact me @ 9435-1330.

Do remember, to rest up and drink lots of fluids, don't want people dropping off like flies because of the heat of the morning sun.

I just shoot in silence, or if anyone got doubts can ask me (Nikon camera settings) or about the usual ISO/ shutter / Aperture settings.
But do read the manual as Shifu Dingeroo mentioned....

6. Cap/Hat/Topi/Skullcap/etc.
7. Have enough rest
8. Last but not least, wake up to be on time.
