Uh actually. The software has all along allowed multiple selections. You just need to select "Allow Multiple Choice", that's all.

I am a EOS 5 user...and also G2....

A40 user for barely a week ;)

Hello. My very first post!!
Had bought a used D30 from 2nd hand shop back in July. Have taken 6000+ shots since then, and have never regretted going down the digital path.

Have kept my old and faithful (and still very high performance) EOS 630 for times when I need a backup and/or film camera.

just purchased Canon IXUS V3 over the weekend.

was looking at Canon G3 but too expensive, out of my budget.

since this is my first digital camera, hope Canon IXUS V3 is a good start.

Also just bought the V3 some three weeks ago. Already took over 1000 photos in China and recently in Japan (photographing the colourful leaves of Autumn).

Cheers

I'm going to travel with my Canon IXUS V3 as well. I have a few questions.

1. when you take scenary shots etc, what format did you use? L, M1, M2 or S?

2. how do you store your images when you get back? CDs, do you print? if so at what size, which format gives fairly good print?

3. I tried viewing some sample shots on TV, straight from V3 and notice immediately that L format is far more sharper than M, which worries me to think that we need at least 128X3MB when we travel.

Share your thoughts, thanz!

so far how is the canon v3??

battery finish up fast?

users shared on dpreview.com that the battery is quite lasting.

e.g. 10 full movies

My apology for the late reply. Was busy travelling and taking photos with the V3 in Japan. The Autumn leaves are in full bloom in Kyoto this year.

Normally, I use L and S for compression. So I managed about 130 photos in a 256 MB CF card.

Store my images in my hard disks and also burn on CDs.

Sorry, I do not use TV to view my images so no experience on this issue.

Hope I have answered your queries.

Have Fun with your Digital Camera. Cheers
