Digital Camera Magazine March Issue

I bought it at Popular in TPY interchange. Well we Singaporeans can relate to these 'local' magazines better. Eg; they have photoshoots of Chinese New Year theme and all. I mean of coz other magazines are great but like 'winter' shoot, castle or rockforms on the coastal are not practical to us. Unless we're going overseas. And I hope they feature more of local pro-photographers.

yeap, buy from jb RM 9~! across the causeway makes it SGD$6... it's good to have malaysian friends that lives in JB

I got that booklet or something similar from Canon itself. It is useless to me so if somebody wants i can hand over mine. Now just where did i place it...

Yes canon published that (both from Canon during some road show and in this magazine).
The magazine version is up to date, included the 100L and the 70-200 f2.8 II. But all in all, it just try to 'poison' user to buy more lens ;p

For the past week since CS was down. I decided to try 'smoke photography' tht was taught in the magazine. Its far from perfect though. My first attempt. But nevertheless, quite fun!! ..... And sweaty since I had to close all windows and off the fans to 'catch' the perfect smoke.

My equipments:
1) Canon 550D + kit lens 18-55mm
2) White led torchlights (Since I havent got speedlite yet)
3) My cotton sweater (As background)
4) Next Menthol Lights ciggarettes. Lol.

Im using MF dunno why. Maybe coz my lens suck at focusing smoke. And I took abt 50-60 shots. Any of you guys tried it? ;p

you can try kinokuniya at taka, they usually have a lot of stock or the magazine at parco bugis, they keep the issues for the previous month

Thks Dylan1987. Glad u appreciated it. This came out random and I saw half of a "heart" outline. So decided to make it a "full heart". I guess photography sometimes really depend on luck and also to capture the "moment" when the situation arises. Ive still got a long way and ever since I started on photography, evryday IS a new day!
