Yap. They rent cameras to people.

During my buddy's wedding last month, he rented a Canon IXUS from Rentixus. I was actually their "unofficial" photographer. ;-)

The cam was pretty user friendly. I caught about hundred shots for the couple's dinner. Heard that Rentixus later sent them a CD of the images and my buddy's wife was pretty pleased with my shots. hahaha......

I think this rental thingy is good for ppl without digicams and don't want the problems with processing/download the images. Cheap deal compare to engaging professionals photograhers.

Retro is right, well almost. We mainly carry Canon Digital IXUS cameras. We do have a few of other cameras like Canon A60. Do you have any preference or requirement? I can help to suggest a camera based on your needs, even if we don't carry it.

Perchance any DSLR for t-rent? I was thinking of getting my hands on a DSLR for my upcoming ROM and wedding event shootings.

Preferrably with a 28-80 and a 70-200 mm lenses.

Sigh don't think my 5700 can make it even with an external flash.

You can try here for camera rentals but I think currently they don't have any DSLRs.:dunno:

However, we don't have SLRs. The digital cameras we are renting are more suitable for beginners and intermediate users.
