Digibeta connectivity ?

Hello,

wondering anyone can shed some light on digibeta connectivity here? What is the connection used ? SDI with BNC cabling or otherwise? and what is a cost effective card (decklink?) for a 2nd hand digi deck with provisions to go HD in the future ?

It's my first time setting of a 1/2" tape setup, to a built to order Mac Pro I'm planning for broadcast workflow.

Get a Decklink HD Extreme.

It has SDI and component I/O. Both use BNC connections.

There are better workarounds for a full SD/HD compatible system for broadcast application now.
When you are talking about uncompressed SD video at Digibeta resolution, you also need to think about your storage.
