digi-cabinet usage

hi guys

i just bought a digi-cabinet yesterday from carrefour and after putting in my camera for 1/2 a day. the meter still says 60%. additionally, i am not sure about the settings. Do i turn it all the way right or left? the power red led and the green led is on.

any of u guys using the digi-cabi model can give some advice?

Dial Right if you want it to be less humid.
 

i turned full right. after 2 hours. The humidity went up! from 62 now its 65!
umm anything wrong?

the green and red still on!

Send it for repair.
 

you're supposed to leave the EMPTY dry cabinet running for 2 days or so before opening it up and fiddling with the settings, some kind of run in period for the cabinet.
 

never had problem with my cabinet,

but the lights never go off one even if i did not open my cabinet for more then 2 weeks.. humidity is around 45%.. enough rite? or should i bring it down lower?

agree.... just leave it alone for a few days
 

I bought my dry cabinet recently and spent a couple of days before getting it in the 45%-55% range........just have some patience and check the humidity every few hours if it doesn't fall into the range. After a while, you should be able to get it.
