My DHC-80L just arrived. I like the overall design of the cabinet. It could be a professional looking piece of equipment with the exception of two things that really make it look 'cheap'.
1. 'DRY CABINET' Text:
Must this be there? As owners, we know we bought a dry cabinet. I really wish those words could be removed. They are redundant, the font choice even ugly and do not go with the nice sleek modern look of the cabinet. I though it was just a sticker on the outside that could be removed. Could you tell me how I can get rid of it? It totally destroys the interior deco of the room. Plus it will save you production cost and time not having it.
2. Cheap Old looking handle design:
The other thing which I would like see improved is the handle. Just like the font choice, it is archaic and do not go with the over sleek minimalist design of the cabinet. Please just have a simple handle. Even a flat one will do or better still just a groove on the side of the door (like modern fridge designs). The current handle looks like it came out of the 1970s. Again it is an eye sore for the interior deco.
Remember the modern design motto: "Less is More"
Please don't over design. Thanks.
