Hi can anyone explain which is better suited for speedlite 580EX II, I can't decide between Garyfong light sphere collapsible and the sto fen bounce.

They both do a great job by diffusing speedlite. I own a sto fen though. If used indoor, I personally don't see a big difference between them.

Diffusers are not suited for a flash model but for a certain purpose and under certain conditions. So depending on what you want to achieve and which conditions you have chose the one you need.

no one type of diffuser fix all situations, you need to find out what kind of situation you shoot the most and the results of the diffusers suit you taste.

U can also use many different available materials as diffusers. Tracing papers, NTUC plastic bags etc. My fav for most occasion is the diy Ikea kitchen drawer anti slip plastic. There's always something for every occasion.

And not to forget your trusty Tupperware and 3-ply tissue paper for the ultimate budget shooter. Just don't forget the Swiss knife.
