Haa, was about to say none then suddenly appeared.

Been hearing them go about since the early morning...before I go to sleep abit heh..wake up to more of it...... Friend of mine of owns a Lion Dance Troupe....business is down abit but still they are doing good business. Govt side has reduce hiring them for Auspicious Event or cut budgets in recent months.

i think day 2 or day 3 confirm got... i always hear mine during day 2... cos they will always wake me up when i wanna sleep in late on day 2... :(

Yes, they came around 8.30am at Tampines. Very loud.

I was woke up by the roar... :embrass:

I woke up very early with my families to catch a "full course" 1 hour lion dance at Meritus Mandarin hotel this morning 9 o'clock! Southern lions, dragon & Beijing Lions!

We have been in Singapore quite some years but this is the first time we searched for lion dance performance :D My son loves them and enjoys very much

Yeah, I heard the Lion Dance truck pass by my house today.

Don't mean to be racist or anything but there were two INDIAN dragon dance members on the truck.

Normally, the dragon dance troupes are made up of Chinese only.

The economy must be so bad that even Indians are taking up Dragon Dancing! :bsmilie:

yes under my blk... under my blk is the neighbourhood RC... i just went back to sleep. =D

For the past few years, lion and dragon dance troupes have become mini-United Nations on lorries. I have seen Ang Mohs, Indians, Malays, Thais and Vietnamese troupe members.
