Depth of field preview button

I don't have that icon.

I think you should go inside that "PRESS" entry. Beside the OFF there's arrow - go inside there by pressing right button on your multi-selector dial... you will see there the preview icon

That is exactly what you get... after pressing the arrow button... it leads you to the second menu which is what I attached.... Nope no Preview Icon.

Anyway, called Nikon a few hours ago and technician unable to answer my question.......still waiting for their reply.

looks like the menu able to scroll down some more?
I see a slider bar at the right side.

Tsk. Ok bro. Share with us later what happen if NSC have a fix... Maybe it can be fix in future firmware updates...

ok so you saved a trip down to NSC. No free kopi and molest of top-end equipment... :)


edit: I continued to press 'down' on my D-Pad intuitively when the menu item I wanted wasn't shown... didn't occur to me that it was a "problem". ha.

The photos turn out ok.... as per what the aperture suppose to do.

But the preview button is useless.

Of coz I ensure that it is not assigned to any function.

Can yours work?

I never encountered a body/lens combination where the DoF preview didn't work unless the dialed in aperture is the same than the lens wide open.

EDIT: Ops, it seems yours is working too now anyway. ;)
