suppose to purchase a camera from another user...

deal was confirmed this afternoon but just 30mins before the deal (dealing in the night). seller pulled out and I just reached her area.

Edit: decided to post coz her number is in her sales thread

story:

1253hrs: deal confirmed at 2130hrs

no news till 2101hrs. telling me deal is off (deal is at west side and I stay in the NE area and hence I was already reaching her area)

called her twice immediately but didn't pick up phone

2105: replied saying her deal fell through with the other guy and hence she's keeping her camera.

will provide screen shots and her number if required

yea. but you can checked her time of confirmation with me, timing of her post and timing which she informed me about calling off the deal

Perhaps she had a higher offer :S

what's really infuriating is that i spent an hour of travelling and played

and her reason was that the other party played her out and hence she's doing it to me...

just a heads up for people who wish to deal with her in future.

oh ya. weird. sold even before the person met u

some people must learn to buy and sell with integrity before maximising personal profit. but it's also easy to be tempted by higher late offers, oh well. i once gave in to a late higher offer, but after that it didn't feel good. subsequently, i'd close a deal based on first come first serve, even if a latecomer offered a higher price. conscience before profit. better luck next time bro, there're many D700s popping up all the time :)

money makes the world goes round. i wouldn't mind if she inform me much earlier..

imagine the 2hrs of travelling time (to and fro) for nothing!

i'm still giving her the benefit of doubt though that she got played out by another party

this thread is just a heads up for people who are interested in dealing with her

Hmm, looks like you got stood up by a Russian lady, see Ylesiya YouTube Channel
Her husband sure has an interesting dress code while at home :D

Sorry, just being kaypoh.

Arrghh..didn't manage to kill the kaypoh bug. Did a bit more digging. Take a look at this 2 links:

Ylesiya Ebay Feedback
Ylesiya WTSell: Compact - Canon SX30IS Powershot

Sold on eBay for $404 but transaction cancelled because "seller dropped and cracked lens". Clubsnap's posting updated as camera sold. So my guess is, got a better offer on Clubsnap and gave the cracked lens story to eBay buyer.

Ericulf, I think you can safely take back your doubting benefits. This looks like a repeat offender...sigh

i did some digging too.. wouldn't be nice to expose her particulars :)

haha.. her sales thread looks dubious.. seeing how she keeps rotating between dx and fx..

either she's trying to buy at a cheaper price and selling higher to earn profits and she couldn't get the stock last min or she's trying to bring the price down?

also she did tell me she tried to purchase another d700 for her for her friend from another use (not in img and i find it quite weird since why can't she just sell her set to her friend)

She even have 2 different hp no. Really suspicious

 kaypoh sifu

I shall hire you as private investigator next time

I empathize with you TS. Met with a similar incident 2 weeks ago and only got to know about no-go when I msg the a**h**e 30 mins before we are supposed to meet. Was taken on a round the island trip as a result. My thread is in the same sub-forum if you are interested. These people should be ashamed of themselves! Grrr....

darn... cs should really create a reputation point system...

Having a reputation system would just make these people create new accounts everytime they get a bad review. A better way of tracking would be by mobile number which of course can be circumvented by prepaid cards, but that's a lot more work than creating a new email address and signing up for new CS account.
