Dead Buyer - Mods please take note.

Good evening,

i've been experiencing frequent "stunts" by this dead buyer. I do not have his nickname, as he contacted me via sms. It is very frustrating as i went down to the dealing location twice, only to wait aimlessly.

He always agrees to a timing and location, but nearing the time itself he would just disappear.
I hope the mods can do something not only about him, but other sellers that experience such buyers.

His contact is 83066039.

I did a search, and turns out he did the same thing to a previous seller.

i doubt there is anything the mods can do, since you don't have his clubsnap profile.

you mentioned he disappeared TWICE, if I were you, he would be on my ban list after the first time.

as what others have always mentioned in such threads, always deal near you and at your convenience when you are selling.

such cases are on a rise at CS. and thats a sad thing...

Sad to hear about this bro. I don't understand what these buffoons get by doing this. Anyway, I'd suggest you do the initial deal strictly by PM before you swap numbers. That way you'll have a record of their identities.

Moderators, is it possible to create a sticky thread exclusive for issues such as these? I also had the 'pleasure' of dealing with these kinds of clowns.

it will be unless, such people has no integrity, even Mods ban them if proven causing nuisance, or their nick being exposed, they will come back with another new nick.

most members usually will arrange a meeting place with potential buyers at their own convenient time and place, like short walking distance from their workplace or home, so if buyers show up early or late will not be an issue, even their get aeroplane also won't waste too much of their time.

Agreed~ :thumbsup: ....think it is impossible to 100% prevent such issues..but guess that just part and parcel of buying and selling in the internet..

Hmm... Yea, point taken. But at least we'll have a page where we can check for hot numbers. Nicks they can change in a breeze, but numbers they can't. Or even if they can, after 2-3 (or even 5-8, to make it more interesting) changes I think they're sane enough to stop. I mean, which monkey would spend cash just to satiate their so-called humor?

I don't believe in 100% also. There's no such thing. But 40-50% is better than nothing.

Calling all victims of Dead Buyers------time to strike back perhaps make a list of the name and contact numbers to be supplied by victims...Well they can always change IDs and numbers perhaps---so what---we list the new IDs as well so genuine honest to goodness sellers and buyers can avoid them like a plague...They are the scum of the earth!
