I am all go for a prelude trip to JB too.
It could be a simple trip to a durian plantation (since it's durian season) or just some sightseeing around the city area.
The main point is to get to know each other better so that it will be easier for you guys to arrange future trips.

Looks like there is a pent up demand for trips to JB and beyond. Thinking of getting a seven-sitter at least so that I can dump, deposit or ferry you lot around JB town. Hope something can be arrange soon or this thread will finish up in Kopitiam.

I've decided to move the maintenance of the regular and waiting lists to meetup.com. Thus I have been asking CSers to sign up for a meetup.com account and in a few hours' time (Sunday 12 noon), I will create the same Pontian outing at meetup.com and have CSers sign up over there.

Hi~ Never knew this would be my first post haha~ I'm very interested in this trip to pontian. It holds a lot of memories to me as I have been there before with someone very dear to me. Back then, I was busy going around the place and eating bak kut teh and pontian wanton mee that I didn't take much photos. I would love to keep those memories in photos but the thing is that I have only a pns camera and I do not know anyone here. Hope u guys won't mind me joining the trip.

Anyone want to do a day trip in Sep, let me know. I could try to organise something.
But without transport, I dun recommend to go too far out from JB...otherwise lot of time spent on public transport. I already 2 persons who show their interest.
