Data simcard for Yunnan

Hihi,

Was wondering if anyone who has been to Yunnan can advise if a data micro sim card can be gotten easily upon touchdown? Will be accompanying family & tour so not sure how much time I have to run around after leaving airport to look for it.

I read that there are 2 national providers, which would you all recommend? And is coverage good from your experience?

I got one from China Unicom for RMB100, comes with 100mb per month.
Coverage is pretty ok, speed sufficient for emails and what's app, but bit slow for voice apps like viber and tango.
You'll need your passport to register.
