darkroom courses

My new year resolution -- will learn wet printing.

I found 2 darkroom courses in Singapore -- one by SAFRA and one by Objectif. Which one should I choose? Ideally, I would like to have access to the darkroom after the course completion (ok if I have to pay for it).

Anyone done the objectif course and care to comment?

not sure about the objective one, but the safra one is great,
lots of hands on instead of theory. and there is plenty of enlarger there too.

I have not attended either of these courses, but as someone who recently learnt wet printing, I found the experience quite straight forward especially if you can get your hands on a decent enlarger. The equipment required was the most difficult part as there are many types of enlargers and sometimes it's difficult to determine what can of enlarger people are selling second hand. Printing itself is quite straightforward and more of a practice and experience kind of thing.


I suppose just something to consider as the safra courses seems aimed at complete noob..
