you should consider taking up product shoots.
haha because i always like to take pictures of the food before i eat :bsmilie: So i do have quite a numbers of food pictures on hand

What was your focal length? I tried taking a similar shot today too.. of a croc! Hehe.
haha i was using tamron 90mm macro lens so the focal length is 90mm but i went real close.
Wow croc... mine is just a harmless tortoise, much safer :bsmilie: Don't tell me you got a pet croc at home :sweat:
hahah some are just older photos that i processed recently, i find japanese food very well presented and makes good subject of food. hence so many photos of japanese food :bsmilie:

great shots of your food man. just curious, any flash fired? or just up the iso? i assume your tammy 90 was used for your food shots right?
Thanks! Nope no flash was fired for any of the food shots. Normally i will also try to keep to ISO100 - ISO200.
Some was with tammy 90mm, but mostly are done with tammy 17-50mm, it's a better lens for food as it allow more room for composition. You can go pretty near with this lens too.
The above ramen pic was taken with it at ISO100 50mm f.28
