#43 Danga Bay is always on continue improvement project. Last few months, it is under some major renovation and construction project.

#44 Sunset is still as good as before.

Hi there guys,

Urm, if you're thinking of staying at a hotel near Danga Bay, you can try either M-Suites Hotel or Straits View Hotel..these are quite near to Danga Bay (5 minutes drive max)

If you prefer a better hotel then Hyatt's just around the corner too.

Last i heard M-suites is famous for being haunted. :bigeyes: Hyatt is a little bit too expensive but if you can pay then it's alright. I know couple more that's not too expensive but right smack in JBla...New York Hotel, Hotel Selesa (behind citibank), Ex-compact hotel just next to the old customs is not too bad. RM130 for 1 night.

I use to go Danga quite often....but really, it's a little over rated and the 'sea' is er...dead? water is not flowing one.

This place I and my wife went there before for outdoor wedding shoot and there is 1 open space chinese restaurant call "jumbo'. The seafood there is very nice and cheap.

There are some area under renovation, the following section will be converted to a air-con area.

ThunderBolt, thank you for your comment. This place is more popular at night for eating place (air-con or open air) and good location to take some sunset picture (many good location to select). During daytime there is air-con shopping mall for you to relax. A fishing pond for fishing if you are interested.

Can't help have to type a few words, some of your pictures reminded me of a book I'd read about nature and abstract.

It said, ( something to that extent ) nature had created the best abstract than any artist could. Being, the sky is the canvas, wind and clouds be the media, the sun being the only light source. How true. No post processing, no photoshop, no HDR, just natural.

I thought you are preparing a brochure/catalog or something for the Malaysian tourist board to promote this Danga Bay.

I took all these pictures for my own photographic hobby and at the same time I was able to enjoy the sea breeze on my face together the constant changing color of the sunset for my eye.
