the camera is neither smart nor stupid. it only respond to preset lighting conditions and hence adjust itself automatically.

hi guys,

i just tried out the video function, but when i play it back on my laptop, the audio and the video is not in sync.

did i miss out some setting? the audio finished much earlier than the video.

anyone experienced this?

sorry to pop in and ask...

VR does kicks in its effect when recording D-Movie? ;)

I have no problem playing back with my 4+ year old lappy (XP) and my new Quad Core Desktop (Vista). I watch it with normal windows media player and edit with MS Movie Maker II.

Care to share your set up and the software you used to view it? :)

Yes. VR, if switched on, will be in activation once you enter LV mode.

So you used Windows Media Player to play. It should be ok. My WMP can play without any problem...Did you try playing on another computer?

BTW, I realised that the 50Hz fluorescent light at home is not very well liked by D90 video. I tried locking exposure and I can still see the banding. I thought only the fluorescent light with ballasts will give this problem.(Note that even the energy saving bulb is a ballast light source).

Anyone has a solution to this? Any recommendation on high frequency light?

Hi , any solution regarding the " frequency " of light ?
