Bro... at night can see or not har? Plus you can put it over the hotshoe? Or do you need to buy a tube of superglue/2-part epoxy glue? And lastly... does it beep? :bsmilie:

Seculine - uses LED lights, warning beeps if you go off horizontal by a weebit, and works over the hotshoe... cheep cheep!

Kenko tubes - try TK, they carry that brand. And change "pros" to "bros" please... lolz

In addition to that, Kenko is offered at quite a number of stores... J3:16 bought once from them a looooooong time back.

But spelling also fail leh... lolz NO "H" in Voigtlander, btw this brand hor used to be Made in Singapore one hor...

guys, if you buy the budget hotshoe spirit level, do take the extra precaution of applying some kind of sealing material (eg. epoxy) to the part where they drill open, top up the fluid, then plug back the hole. The last thing you want is this oily substance in your bag, and the "bubble" to completely fill up the spirit level.... :bsmilie:

Hence........ Seculine Action Level....BBBB  No fluid needed...kakaka

Actually hor, the basic model (not the cross version) is about US$26 plus shipping... so really... cheep cheep...

The design reminded me of the light box for messaging the aliens in the Close Encounters of the Third Kind (oldie sci fi).....

You might wanna check out the second hand stores around Funan (Adephi and Peninsular) or camp out at the B n S section. They are just hollow tubes - no need to be in perfect condition.

sounds tempting... but it looks rather bulky leh. And I don't trust electronics for such simple things.
hmmmm US$26 for essentially a mercury switch...

hey anyone interested in a L-plate for arca-swiss clamp?
essentially it looks like this
lBracket-lg_1.jpg

image location: http://shop.phototoolkit.com/media/...a06f020e43594a9c230972d/l/B/lBracket-lg_1.jpg

am thinking of getting it locally fabricated, but wanna confirm interest level and rough pricing. Of course the more people get it, the cheaper it'll be (economy of scale).

benefits:
with L-plate, can mount camera in portrait orientation directly on top of ballhead, instead of having to drop the ball into the slot. This makes panoramas in portrait orientation much easier.
Will only do this with the arca-swiss mount, so have to be Sirui G10/20, Benro KB series, Markins, RRS, Arca-swiss, Kangrinpoche, etc.

i see..thanks bro~ :)
