Hmmm... Landscape... Flash important meh? Unless you are mingling portrait + landscape into one... :bsmilie:

Wrong, order dude... Tripod...then BALLHEAD.... then Tokina 11-16... and then FILTERS.... Flash can come next :bsmilie: (btw, with Tokina 11-16, you might not need flash so much - big 'ol hole remember?)
don't poison so much la...

If buy Sirui with the G20 head is more than sufficient...

UWA is up to personal preference, though it seems like everyone gravitates towards the ultra wide angles.
* Just note that ultra wides are actually more for going close to the subject, thus changing the perspective, instead of "getting it all in".

Filters I guess are in just about every landscape photog's bag... :)

I think you read too much into my message, lad :bsmilie: ...I didn't mention which brand... just get one that will suit D90 + lens weight... make sure no creep - utmost importance, otherwise all the best lenses and body out there will not give you good landscape...am I right? Filters, I think is an essential tool for the landscapist... More like die-die should have...

Seriously, I am trying to avoid reading those threads you guys posted but damn tough. The more I read, the deeper the venom seep through my veins. BTW using a kit lens 18-105 can still capture good images for landscape where we last tried (at Esplanade)? if so, I have to try again, my pictures just not sharp enough.

I shall post one in the photo thread where I used the 18-105VR whilst skylover borrowed my 12-24.
It's not level and all (think I passed someone the spirit level), but the clarity is there! :)

edit: ooooops! I deleted the file. paiseh!

Haha. For landscape i think floodlight also not gd enough. Sometimes will shoot indoor shots of my dog or of friends. So i guess a flash is better.

NO NO!!!!! A sirui G10 shld be gd enough for me until my anti virus expire. Haha

Markins Markins Markins...

:cheergal: *do the Markins dance* :cheergal:

Tried searching but cant really find the info, last found a primus AW haha. Will try to find.

There is a prices list section here in clubsnap. There is an entire list for Lowepro bags in that section too...

if you buy a decent tripod, the base is quite large... then you put the G10 on it hor, it looks quite 'koo-koo', because it's much smaller than the base. hehehehe
