1batt sure not enough .. 2 batt at least, provided either 1 dun spoilt or half charge ..

If u r paid to cover event, pls get all the proper equipment, if for fun, sure 1 batt is enough ..

without using the built in flash, I tried up to 800 shots...good battery. If your vr on all the time this may be less. it's not the time but the number of shots. with flash on and off, you may get less than 800 shots.

If you're the main photographer, better bring at least 2 fully charged. 1 might be able to make it, but do you want to take the risk?

any intervalometer to recommend that works with D90?

looks like there is Phottix TR-90 (N10 version) going at about $75 for D90.

I am using Phottix Nikos Timer Remote N10. Seems Ok.

thanks. any heads up on where you got it from and how much?

Nikos (and another brand too) are great intervalometer becos the wire connecting to ur camera is interchangeable. Meaning if u change camera bodies that needs a different connector, u dun need to buy a new device, just change the cable.

Nikos is much better in design than Phottix TR-90. It was $85 and it's now $75.

It's smaller and more compact in size, the design is unique while Phottix TR-90 looks like many of the other 3rd party brand (& nikon original) Timer remote shutter release.

where can i get it? how about in terms of functionality? i cant seem to find much difference sia.

Time lapse, super long exposure, self portrait. Top of the list in my head

Just bought D90. Need more practices. No regret to own it even if Nikon claims that it as "discontinued" today.

Welcome flyeminent and congratz!
Enjoy shooting my friend.
They just discontinued production but not support.
And by the time they stop support we all have level up our camera body
