- Rubber grip can buy (from NSC) and DIY install.. I think it's not too expensive.
- AF assist light... can live without. I normally disable it anyway.
- No AF lock sound? The beeping sound? Also can live without :)
- Hot shoe mount loose: can disassemble and knock it back into shape!

or just get a D4

haha.. yeah can live without but it helps on super low light shots..
also AF lock does help right ?

somehow my shots dont turn out right .. on my d50, d300 and my friend's d90, mounted an sb900, same settings, same shot , but my d90 seems a bit off

Should do some simple focus chart testing to be more certain :)
In low light indoors, I find that the AF assist light from the Nikon Speedlight is more accurate. It forms a grid pattern which the AF sensor can better use to determine AF accuracy.

You can go to SLRR at funan, I bought Led ring light ( not flash) @ $68.00. The light is quite bright.

Hi guys, if i wanna buy 3rd party lens, what is the thing i should look out for when buying? motor etc etc etc?

TIA!

Motor isn't important since the d90 already has a bim. You should go for sharpness, vignetting, softness at corners, barrel distortion and such.

Imho just make sure u get the lens of the correct F-mount.... :) and of course, u can get use to the -'ergonomic' of the lens (i heard not sure if i'm right, sigma zoom lenses 'turn' the opposite way as compare to 'nikkor' lenses)

so D90 which have a built in motor, and for lens i don't have to particularly look at with HSM one right.

Im more to landscape photography and looking long zoom lens. which one you guys recommend??

Tokina 11-16 f2.8 for landscape and sigma 70-200 2.8 or the nikkor AFD 80-200 f2.8

where can i buy original battery for D90? it seems like everywhere no stock... do they stop manufacturing batteries as well?
is it safe to buy 3rd party?

Anybody here have problem with the image cleaning sensor. I set mine to clean at startup but it seems there's no notice indicate the camera is undergoing cleaning. Wonder if my image cleaning sensor is working.

As far as I rem, D90 will do the cleaning of sensor w/o showing on the UI when u off the camera. U can also do it manually thr the menus.

Even If it is. Is there anyway I can feel or hear it is cleaning?

Well, you can see the UI telling you it's cleaning it's sensor if you do it manually thr the menu.

Good day everyone, After hearing the D800E announcement, i am more curious to know:

Did anyone tried to remove anti aliasing filter from D90? what is the effect in picture quality?
If so, how difficult and where/how to remove it?

I don't mind having those artifacts.
