hello. wondering if anyone knows what is the price range to expect for a used d90 body. thanks in advance.

It depends... on how well the body is kept (conditions), shutter counts, with or without warranty left, complete box & stuff or missing.

What I see in BnS is bordering between 900 to 1000 for a good conditioned ones (especially with warranty left). Otherwise, would be slightly lower... for warranty-expired ones. Just a rough gauge, caveat emptor.

Can't be too low because D80 (predecessor model) is still fetching prices like 600 to 750... (roughly)

No sweat, pal! Tomorrow is only our second meeting, there will be other times!!

Glad you've sorted out the Crop factor idea! :)

I am facing some problems with my D90.

1. My shutter would "snap" twice even though I pressed the release once. Multiple exposure is off. This resulted in 2 images being taken.

2. Part of my image will contain image of a previous shot. Like maybe at the top or bottom strip. Sometimes it will be a strip of solid pink colour or distorted mosiac colour.

Anyone also facing the same problems above?

oooh. That sounds bad. I hope you still have warranty remaining. Quickly bring down to NSC for them to take a look.
I remember another CSer posted a similar problem to yours...

Aaarrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh..........!!!!!!!!!!!! Sian 1/2. Yup... still got warranty. Do you think I would have to leave the camera there overnight? You recall how the other CSer solved the issue?

Maybe I should service it and then sell it and get the D7000. :p

EXACTLY why one should buy the body locally... Head to NSC pal, be glad you're still under warranty. :)

Your call... :bsmilie: Switching bodies doesn't guarantee a fault free body (if that's what you're trying to avoid)!

try format that sd card using the camera function...

Just to add on, these problems appear intermittently and randomly. I was told to format the card using the camera which I did. But this does not solve the 2nd problem.

Could be your shutter button problem... best go NSC if nothing elses works... sounds like a buggy body. Don't make it any worser.
