AFAIK, D2X mode picture controls do not work for D90. The Portrait and Landscape picture controls in D90 are similar to D2XModeI and D2XModeIII respectively.
Yeah, IT DOES NOT WORK.. my apologies as if you read through the thread, I've had some problems with it..
Anyway, all the pic control I've uploaded on the latest MEDIAFIRE sites are the CUSTOM CURVE I've found from various sites. Most of them gives a +.3 ev in the mids while holding the highlights and shadows. It's pretty straight forward if you load them in picture control utility and you can see the curves adjustment..
The simulations of the various film modes are on exposures of GREY/mid values and does not affect saturations as in VELVIA mode as they are based on the NEUTRAL picture control.
These effects of these pic control are pretty obvious when shooting white wedding gowns or skin tones (Properly exposed of course) to see the various adjustments.
