And D90 body with 18-200 should be about 2300-2400.

I saw that they are still selling D90 at Harvey Norman@Central. You can try there.

I think it's more like dunno what Nikon SG doing. Unable to push out supplies, one of the shop I spoke to ordered a batch of D60 for a long time still never get any.

out of stock? really? just got mine 2 weeks ago. anyway, i got my set with 18-105mm VR kit. check out NiKON site, dat (lens) type alone cost $599. 18-200mm cost about there maybe? btw, courts selling D90 wif 18-105mm for $1988 (a bit expensive thou) but it comes wif 1+2yrs warranty

If you really need it urgently, perhaps can also look around in BnS section, I remember seeing a few sets on sale recently and the prices are quite reasonable.

Buy, shoot in Taipei then sell it back to those who need it at lower purchase price and get a new set afterwards. You won't be losing much as compared to going for a trip without a decent camera.

I had tough luck trying to get anyone to pick up the phone.
But I don't blame them.
