D90 kit at Sitex

Does anyone has clue how much the D80 kit is selling at HN? the cheapest offer. I am not able to check for it as currently not in SG, thinking to get one.
 

Asking and quoting is two seperate issue. You will have to state your mode of payment plus you have to emphasize that you do not want any other free stuff. In this way, you can get the best price :) There is nothing wrong telling you the retail price of the camera. Is like walking into a store and asking the price of a shirt. The salesgirl tell you is $99 and you walk out immediately before she can say there was a sales of 70% for that shirt. ;p

I wonder why some people get so upset when they in the first place if they did not ask properly. What does $1980 comes with? Maybe a 5 yr warranty? You never know unless you ask. You have to compare apple with apple. I often get my gears from Harvey Norman Funan and what they offer me is usually cheaper than what the regular camera shop offers. Called to Lord's this afternoon and they told me the D90 kits set no more come with the 18-105mm VR lens O.o.... it come with 18-55mm or 56mm -200mm lens
and a 8GB card.

And she also said in the SITEX also no more 18mm - 105mm VR. Not sure is true or not.

She quoted me just the d90 body - S$ 1380 + 1 4GB

if you are cheapskate that go for freebies, go look for longest q, chances are they sell real cheap with plenty of freebies.
alternatively, wait for 3 year when it's is about to be obsolete, it will be much much cheaper, dirt cheap maybe, but might not have loads of freebies.

There is nothing wrong for people who go for freebies. The choice is theirs. They are definitely not "cheapskates". Your tone is unwarranted.:nono:

if you haven't get it yet, Sitex is only 2 more days away....wait

another option is to wait until the replacement model is out....;)

Folks, Alan photo has a Nikon sale. D90+18-55 VR + 55-200VR at $1829
D90+ 18-105 VR $1699. Today on straits times Nikon sale D90 $1799. HVN also at $1799 with 8GB, tripod etc...

Think better to buy from Alan right?
