D800

On the other hand, 4fps is a little disappointing. From the picture, it seems that the grip is neither MB-D10 or 11.... Am I right to say that the FPS is almost directly related to the amount of megapixel?

Why is It So small... It does not fit e huge fx lens

Though the author swear by it that it's a FX camera, could it be the D300(s) upgrade actually?
The eye piece do look like one for FX camera though..

Ok, 36 mp is prerry taxing and I really really detest the smaller body. That built-in flash is still there!!!
great!... always comes in handy...
perhaps its time to save up liaoz.. keke

I'd rather they use the space to fit in a 100% viewfinder.......

so this 36mp FX body is also a 18mp DX body ??.. (if it retains the DX mode feature that is)

Will it be in stores before Xmas? :-)

Hope it's the real news,i'm getting D700 in the next few days.Price may go down if D800 news is real... LOL

ya.. price sure to dip for D700...

It was mentioned it will/might be a 100% coverage viewfinder.

OMG 24/25/30P HDSLR CAPABILITY!

Thats my dear Nikon!!!!!

Actually........

The concept of resolution/sharpness/noise/megapixels/format

Is overrated.......

Let the photographs do the talking....

Especially the front photo looks like done in Photoshop with photos from different perspectives.

Hmm, I brightened it in photoshop and though I'm not saying its fake, eg. could be a sloppy PS cleanup job..
but looks photoshopped here?...

4fps sounds a bit **** tbh. Action photographers might as well forget getting d800 right away. I blame the massive 36mp file buffering/processing. Its like taking some steps forward and a giant leap backwards.
I highly doubt 4fps is correct spec though. Unless the battery pack boosts it to 8-7fps which could be a bit too much to ask :O
