D800 or 24-70mm

Try kinokuiya, chinese photography session .. i always got from there. Most book are from taiwan, hongkong, or even japan translated into tradditional or simplify chinese language .. i personally think the mindset of asean and western photographer are very different , so i chose from here. (Although i had a had time reading, as i am very very very poor in tranditional chinese language, sg teaches simplify chinese btw) .

Thks for sharing .. its definately better than reading lens review ..

+1. I have quite a collection of Chinese photography books. Definitely good reads.

Hi Kay Burn Lim, if you intend to choose Nikon D800/E with Sigma 50mm F1.4 for street photography purposes, therefore I suggested that you should fine tune your sigma len on D800/E body to -20 and set to default -20 for best result but for Nikon D4 with no problem. Hence I had both the Nikon D4 and D800 with using these lenses too and I suggested that you should test or try it out before you buy.

One is lens, one is camera, what you comparing, TS? :bsmilie:

If your intention is going to FX, then buying a FX camera is a clear choice. You already have a 50mm for portraits and 14-24mm for landscapes, buying a 24-70mm won't really make a difference unless you have a thing for 35mm, which I rather suggest you buy the 35mm f/1.4 prime from either Nikon (if you want weather sealing) or Sigma.
