Hi guys .. i called the shop "Parisilk" at this afternoon n the boss really told me is $1620 w/GST... now i have abit suspect tat the price isit really wif GST..? as i can see some mention is $1630 w/o GST.. Maybe i given the wrong info liao .. i apologize for tat.. :cry:

Went to CP at marina sq they selling D70s with kit $1800 with a free reporter/journalist lowepro bag. im not very sure which bag but maybe its either one.

Forget about the CP marina...try the CP pennisular. Price should be more cheaper, cuz more competitive at pennisular area.

I've ruled out D50 bcos it only accepts SD cards and not the larger space CFcards

Yes they will normally give you more freebies, but the price will be in standard retail price, costing more. Can't bargain either.

damm parisilk. today when i went there, they said 1660 include 1GB card if for D70 not D70s. D70s is 1630 before GST and no freebie

including GST it's S$1712. it's not bad. but parisilk make me unhappy.

Honestly, why the rush to grab D70s? The PC show is just about a month away and yes u cannot not bargain but who knows what freebies they may give out. Rushing out to buy it on an urge may not be a good idea. Patience is virtual


Just looking at the Canon EOS 350D advert this morning, they are giving free San Disk Ultra II 1GB CF card in conjuction with a new purchase. I think this is to counter the new stock arrival of the 70s
