Err.... I actually got mine with the kit lens and 1 gb Kinsgton card- $1750 with gst.

But hey, it doesn't really matter. I know it's hard but try to put this over you and start enjoying the camera.

For those who buy D70s kit, can I ask you whether you get the LCD cover BM-5 included on the kit?

Some store ask me to buy it for $65. I believe Nikon site say that BM-5 is included as supplied accessory. Worse thing, they don't want to sell the D70s kit without BM-5 (that's means I MUST pay extra $65 for nothing). Crazy! They think I am a tourist :sticktong

Can you confirm this?

For all Nikon DSLRs (apart from D50) the back LCD cover acessory IS included. There's a quick/easy guide to the items inside the package, it shows all the accessories included with the box. You can easily refute the sellers using that.

BM-5 is included in the kits set, even if just the D70s body only package also included.
You got check the body inside the box? It should be attached onto the body liao.
Or the shop want you to buy the other type that got cover/shade type?
Like the one selling in comex for $48 with purchase of D70s kit?

Lucky I haven't buy D70s kit on that store (opposite CP). If not, my cost will blow up $65 for nothing.
The price they offer is $1770 + 1GB CF, but after the price deal, (while checking the camera) they ask me (MUST BUY) BM-5 for $65 or the deal is off. I am glad I am choosing the deal is off.

Just wait for a week for the stock flooding to the market.

Yesterday I go there, they want to convert my mind to buy olympus e-300. Worse still, they offer e-300 dual kit lens for $1799, while people can buy that e-300 dual kit lens lower outside CP.

They offer me D70s kit more that $1800 (without CF card). They haven't state the final price actually, because they hardly want me to buy e-300. Are they the agent for Olympus?

I think also because I am looks like tourist yesterday :cry:

Try email CP for equote, IMO, usually will be lower than walk in quote.
You might wanna get equote from MS Color too for compare.
But do take note that they will take around few working days to reply.
