What happened really....3 fuses gone awry and the CCD blacked out.
The CCD has to be replaced.

As for the D70Hv3...It's the 3rd generation of IR modification done by Mr. H*****. He's come to 5th one so far.

So I now have a spare Lifepixel infrared filter for I don't know what use :dunno:

The cam is still in Jakarta now, hopefully can get my hands on it soon to join outings.

Just joking lah! Acltually there are several advantages in a modded camera for IR.

Have been tempted to mod mine too for some time already. But then just thinking about another normal camera body before modding.

I've tried modding an IR flash some time back, and it works. Good to be able to fire a flash without anyone realising it.
