I did checked the diopter control at the back of viewfinder, no problem.
Care to explain what "no battery" means?
Mine is no longer under warranty.

in my D70, if u take out the battery and look into the viewfinder, the screen is a bit darker and a bit blurry. but once i put in battery (no need to power on) the screen becomes normal. not sure if this applys to all D70

how is the progress?

I picked up my camera from Nikon yesterday....they said they do NOT repair a tampered camera. Nikon should have informed me beforehand, they just accepted it when I came down to their service center and gave my camera for repair...:dunno:

Now...I am taking a long deep breath and enjoy valentine's day.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

That's strange, I know of people who've brought in modified cameras (IR and otherwise) who got their camera's fixed. Why are they feeding you this line? :dunno:

They were charged a repair fee but their cameras were repaired nonetheless.

Matt

maybe their policy change? :dunno: they might be more busy due to the shifting

1 min of silence for a dead D70i, my condolence to u

Thanks deadpixel and quekky.

So I checked again the reset button and it looks ok.

I am thinking of getting the EH-5 AC Adapter to see if the camera can power ON or not.

Else....:dunno:

That adapter isn't cheap, I think it's around SG$100 or more.

However I do have that adaptor and you can borrow it to test if you want to or let me check your cam to see what I can find out...

Cheers,
Matt
