Yeap. Don't jump into primes, macros, telephotos, PC or some other special lenses until you know how they work. Example being...telephoto is more than just zooming real far away. You also need to know how the laws of physics affect the lens construction and thus the image quality. It's kinda complicated for starters

Okie, thx for all the reply, btw IT show is coming next mth, will it better to get from there or sls, funan ect? :)

the prices of the cameras sold at IT show are always at RRP. prices u get from reputable shops around funan and sls r generally lower than RRP. as for freebies, they r roughly the same. the freebies u get from purchasing stuff in IT shows may be more, but they usually dun amount to tat difference in prices between street prices and RRP. anyway, it's still best to do your homework first.

welcome to cs =). see ya shooting around someday enjoy =D haha

And they are technically NOT free. You are paying for them when you purchase at RRP.

yep.. these companies aint tat stupid to actually give u freebies n suffer a loss from that.

My D7000 which i bought in Funan, is made in Thailand.

Is this correct?

Not necessary to be made in Japan rite??

hey ... guys ...

can anybody advise any good prime lenses to use on D7k?

f 2.8? or should go lesser?

50mm better or 35 mm is better?

seems like u dun even know wad ur needs r. i suggest that u should go out n shoot more first, then discover ur needs in the process, rather than buying one coz u wanted one n regret later if it doesn't suits ur shooting needs.

i agree with Irvine.

btw, if ur keen on shooting better i think 50mm 1.8 is fine,

Just gotten my MB D-11 grip, and must say the rubber grip is awesome! i wish the body used such rubber for more grip, rather than a leathery texture. now my D7K looks so beefy.

Waited for quite some time before this grip came, looks like its short on stock everywhere.

I tried shootin CL contionous shoot w sb900. I realized that the WB is diff among the few burst shoot. Any idea how come ?

Using auto WB. Aperture mode. Flash is on Ttl mode
