This is a good idea to make use of that promo. But confirm HN selling the kit at $2040? I thought they have to sell at RRP.

Yes, they can reduce the price. Just challenge the HN salesman and say that you can get better price outside. I am sure they will lower the price for you That's what I did.

Actually right from the first day, the body only in golden box is available same day with the kit. Just that most ppl who took off the lens from kit...reason i think...shop can still sell that kit lens to customers who want it at a higher price, so they can help to advertise their store for selling good deal on body....or maybe i might be wrong.

Because if they sell u alone for body...there is no way they can get a rebate....:think:
