Hi,

I also talked to sunny and he told me the same that it's 54 including GST, how?

In addition, the battery no stock this week and unclear when they will have stock too. Advice was to pickup body first.

Cheers,
manualvin

Congrats on your new buy. The $50 (GST included) nikon original battery, payable by cash only, is only entitled to the list of group-buy buyers i submitted to dealer earlier. The buyers are now collecting the items. If you know any group buyer personally, you may arrange with them buy the nikon battery. The list of group-buy buyers are listed in the earlier post.

Guys, I got my Camera already. Sunny was quite accomodating as I made some last mins changes. The stocks at B outlet is in. Also thanks to Samuel for the info n coordination on the GB. :)

hi all can anyone advice me where each branch is located at?

Google for the company name. They have a website n the location is all listed with contact number.

samuel, thanks for the effort in organizing this bulk purchase. i was about to pay the deposit only but was told that it can be collected minus the battery freebie. so i just paid the full amount and collected the camera, hopefully battery will come soon.

Any updates on prices for the list of additional items?

the 70-200vr2 is 3113 - quote from sunny. if you can find cheaper price, please share with me also.

@Manualvin: I'll be headed there 23-29th, but subject to changes, 'cos I may be headed to China instead... Most likely, Shenzhen area, if that happens. Wondering if Shenzhen would be a good place to look out for lens...

@everyone else: I have just received the call from the dealer (HV branch)- The 18-200mm is S$1,080. So for the body (S$1,650) + 18-200mm, it would surmount to S$2,730. The person I spoke to recommended I start off with the kit (18-105mm) (S$1,900) and get a PWP 55-200mm (S$190) - saying this would be an equivalence to getting the 18-200mm. Is this true? Price-wise, this is definitely more economical. But wondering if the lens-switching would be worth it - don't want to miss a precious shot moment. (I should be using D7K mostly for travel.)

OP is selling at 3080

Think the dealer price is horrible...maybe trying to get some more profit

got my D7000 today... it was great^^

Thx Samuel for the group buy^^ baizai

Remember that international warranty is only 1 year. Local tamron lenses enjoy 3 years warranty.

Thanks for your advise. Lens normally shouldn't have much problems right? My Nikon lens which i bought 2-3 years ago did not give me much problems.

Learning my newly bought D7000 now but now i prefer to use my 50mm 1.8F lens for the bokeh

Hi, I'm getting the body with 55-200mm & the prime.

I'm intending to use it for travelling too. For me, I plan to have the 55-200mm on most of the time. One will only tend to use the wider ends(18mm) doing landscape shots, when you're closer to the subject or shooting building interiors.

I'm still studying so can't fork out so much for the 10x zoom of the 18-200. Even if I did, I'd rather spend it on a UWA lens. But that's my opinion. Hope it helps. =)

This is true only to a certain extent. I use to have a 18-55mm and a 55-200mm with my D40 and also use it mostly during travelling. It is quite a hassle to change lens to and fro especially if you have no prior experience. However, after a while you will get use to it. I find the 18-55mm kit lens can cover most of the shots when I am travelling. If you are using the 18-105mm, it will provide more zoom and therefore it's usability. It is actually more of less hassle vs more cost so I think it is up to individual. For me, I will rather save up the $$$ for some another things. Just my 2 cent worth. :)

Hi D7K Champions

Good news for those who are still interested in GB. The group buy is extended til this Sat 19 March. If you are interested to know more, plse call Sunny at 64594096 for further details. He is dedicated to take care of group buyers. No need to sms or pm me further. Confirmed buyers can also call Sunny to confirm your arrangement if Sunny has not called you yet.

You may also enquire pricing for items outside the offer. Plse do your homework, and buy only if the price is right. Plse DO NOT assume the price is lower because you are buying kit or body from them.

The items on OFFER are as follows. I only compared the pricing of these items with the other dealers.

1) Nikon D7k Kit
2) Nikon D7k Body

Freebies
A - Nikon Tripod, Nikon Bag, 8 Gb Card, Card Reader.
B - Nikon Original Battery (My recommendation)

PWP
Nikon Original Battery
Nikon 55-200
Nikon 50F1.8
Digi Dry Cab 30l
Digi Dry Cab 50l

Btw Just updates. Nikon is awaiting for fresh batch of Body. That means those who buy Body are getting the latest latest batch :)

Is Sunny the owner of the shop or he is just the staff of the shop? I have a list of items that I will be buying but I need the price

i've collected my toy as well. ended up getting the body instead of kit.
body - 1650
18 -55mm - 180
55 - 200mm - 190
50mm f1.8 prime - 192 (price went up)
spare battery - 54 (price went up, got it on the spot)
Also collected my set of Freebie A (card + reader + tripod + bag)
8GB card is a Kingston class 6
For those interested: my 16GB Sandisk Ultra Class 4 (15Mb/s) can take up to 400+ pics when set to Raw + jpeg (single card in camera)
Haven't tested the card for speed limits cos i'm still figuring out how to use the cam. haha!

Shutter count was 0 when i picked it up. Firmware is v1.01

I'm now officially in the club! =D

Thanks to Samuel for organizing the GB!!
