For CPL and NC Filter, do you want to consider www.maxsaver.net? I bought my Hoya HD at a much lower price from them vs from Singapore. I placed my order on the net, and the items were shipped to me in less than 2 weeks.

This question may have been answered. Is there a checklist we need to conduct with our new Nikon D7K before we accept the item? for eg the warranty, the pixel etc. It would be useful to refresh everyone who is picking up D7K this weekend.

i guess since its new from nikon themselves (supplier intends to order then from nikon singapore, thats why we have to wa it right?), then i guess at the shop we can only make sure that everything that should be in the box IS in the box and make sure that there are no obvious defects/scratches/marks on the exterior of the camera. If theres problems with focusing or with the sensor (hot pixels), then i suppose we have to go down to nikon service centre ourselves. Of course, if you see any problems on the spot, i guess no harm asking our dealer nicely whether they can replace on the spot or not. Unlikely, but worth a try

Finally just got my D7000 body last friday at TK for $1660 ,extra batt @ $65 and a sigma 17-50 EX f2.8 for $1050. body came with lexxar 8gb and photix wireless remote(useful) for long shutter use =). just wondering anyone knows any update on shops with theirs stocks on the batt grip??? when around the whole cityhall it seems no shops has it in stock yet.

(with lens cap on) juz set the shuttle speed to maybe 1 or 2s, and iso from 800-3200. then zoom in and scroll around to check. if u only see around 3 hot pixels at iso 3200. it's very acceptable..at least to me.

Hi all, wanted to ask a noob qn. If i test for hot pixel using shuttle speed of 1-2s, iso 800-3200 and hot pixels appear, will it still appear under normal condition when i lower the shuttle speed and iso??
Just bought it from the IT fair lst week and loving it.

and for those ordering cleaning kit, why dun u juz get a lens pen (S$10) and blower(forgot d price). Its much much more portable and easy to use.

btw, got my D7000 body last night and its amazingly fast wif my dx 35mm lens. soo happy wif it.
