if you press the af/m button and turn the front dial you get options for which/how many of the 39 focus points to use
- select auto and the camera decides
- select single and you can choose which of the 39 focus points to use. once selected it doesn't change
- select dynamic 9, 21 or 39 and the camera will change focus points as it sees fit
- select 3d and the camera will track the subject all over the frame.
Hi, I've encountered a similar problem. Using the AF/M switch button, I can get to Auto and 1 single point focusing with no problem. My problem is, after reading from the manual and Magic Lantern Guides
, I should be able to switch between 4 options(Single-Point AF, Dynamic-Area AF, 3D-Tracking & Auto-Area AF) when I turn the front dial. However, I am missing Dynamic-Area AF & 3D-Tracking. I can't
figure out where are these 2 options. I am quite sure it might be due to some settings I did that disabled them. My Focus Selector Lock is unlocked.
Can some bros enlighten me on how to get back these options?
Thanks in Advance
