Hi, need help, think of getting a D700 body only. The problem is some of my told told me to buy from Malaysia as their price is really cheaper than Spore. What about HK? Are they selling cheap too? Thk

Yes ! Both country are cheap than singapore but one thing for sure you will lose your warrt cos DSLR have to buy local with local warrt. You safe a few hundred if you need service you pay a few hundred isst worth ?

If it's just $80, I suggest you get Local set. Unless it's $500 - $600 difference.

It's not only SGD80 cheaper.
If you get it from Malaysia, it will be SGD500-600 cheaper.
If you get it from Thailand or HK, it will be much much cheaper.

Nothing wrong with buying from Malaysia. If there's any problem with your set, just send it to the shop, they will send to Nikon KL for repair on behalf of you at no charge for the 1st year. And JB is so near SG, unless you don't travel to JB. This is better than buying from HK right? And the difference in SG and MY set is close to $600 for D700.

Hk prices are on the rise too. So be sure to check out price sites to get the latest updates. Stocks for d700 is running low. Best to call to check stocks and latest pricing info.

Try call other Nikon dealer shops in Malaysia. I got quote at RM6100 from a camera shop at Johor Bahru. Some people got RM6000 in other areas of Malaysia.

for hk's digitalrev, u need to send ur camera for repair here (csc) so u need to pay 1st. later u can mail the receipt to them to get reimburse.
