Wow, amazing shot! Super sharp and detail with colours rendition I have seen best from the D700.
Any post processing work you have done after the shot? Also care to share the shot details pls.
I think the C camp must be furious at themselves for taking a step backwards in their AF department.

Considering the 2nd high end Nikon, I was quit surprise to see there are so many demo units in the show and not many people queing to see it on last saturday afternoon...so I managed to play around for a couple of minutes....The large view fiender is simply awsome, the focus and shuttle speed also super fast even with a cheapo 50mm f1.8....forget about D90 or D300....I confirm wanted to buy this as my D70 replacement

Did you test out the high ISO noise? Compaired to the D80 it's about 1 1/2 stop better, so if you compaire it to the D70 :sweat:
Totally agreed with you. You are so lucky, not many queing to see D700 on Saturday. I went to Comex on Friday. Waited for quite some time before my turn to put my hands on D700. AF is superb fast with 50 F1.8D. Great high ISO performance.
BBB... But no money leh...
I think more than that:bsmilie:
