haha.. i wanna learn more on photography first. brand and color are not so important to me... by the way, silver is quite cool looking, rite? dang, i'm in nikon forum now... better keep my mouth shut.

I think u shld also consider getting a prosumer cam. Dun jump to a DSLR becos everyone else is getting one. Consider if first you are willingly to spend that kind $$ and time. Furthermore, there are considerable work to be done to achieve the most out of a DSLR. And not forgetting the dust problem.

almost everyday i pass spinelli around 6.30pm to do my daily 'marketing' (read: window shopping, and etc) at tcw and ruby; but didn't notice you guys

6.30 is a little too early. By the time we finish our own window shopping, it would be around 7-7.15 You can't miss us. At most, ask the staff at Spinelli to point us out :sweat:

six months ago 300D ruled, but D70 rules for now. just look at dpreview's D70 forum, hot like pancakes compared to 300D's quiet forum. :thumbsup:

I am sure Canon is going to come out something in six months, but what dat is going to be beats me since anything better than D70 would mean wiping out 10D. :dunno:

Now (morning till night), get out of the house and take good photos

mine also got abit of dust but i still can bear with it cause it wornt affect my picture quality.

mine inside the pentamirror and it is very dusty inside. Quite irritating if shoot in the day time.

Pentamirror or pentaprism does NOTHING to end picture quality result. It only affects what you see in the viewfinder which doesn't impact what's recorded on the sensor. Pentaprism is a solid prism block and so less light is loss in transmission from the lens to the viewfinder. Pentamirror uses mirrors instead of a prism and so suffers a bit of light loss, resulting in a slightly darker viewfinder image. Pentamirrors and lighter and also cheaper to build, and so turns up most frequently in mid and low end SLR.

I think the D70 has a pentaprism.. (can anyone confirm? Don't own a D70...)
