My bad, I must have saw the stick on one as if it was as thin as a phone screen protector. My apologies for confusing you. Now I am relatively assured that it offers the same protection as the clip on. However, the only reason I would buy the clip on is since it is easily removable. And the dust issue happens to both types, soon or later. To each his own.

Any idea where can I get the glue on ggs for d600?

whats the lowest offered price now for the body in the retail ?

Shops don't have GGS in stock but there are on ebay.

Bro, pop by Funan today and walk around the few recommended shops... TK, SLRR, CLICK, John... then compare who is cheaper and if service matter, who provide better service..... then make your decision..... but you buy at the right time... believe price has come down a bit...

Shops offering about 2.49k can grab already. The canon 6D is already out, D600 price should be quite stable now. NSC still selling $3249.
My purchase 1 month back was 2.6k came with 200-300 freebies.

Unless you want to wait for the next FX camera out.

Yea 2.49k should be more or less the anchor price so I guess the price would hover around the region since like blueblood said, the 6D is out.

went shoopping @ #4 funan just now. yes d600 is now 2.49k+ cash only . d800 is 3.5k+ cash only. (+2% if using cc)

note CP MSQ quotes me S$2640 for d600, any mode of payment.

Wofton u mention u tried LR 4.3 right? Whats the difference, i cant really tell much diff in speed or performance, or the rendering of pix. Maybe just a litttle faster like 5-10%

Maybe it's me, the colours looks more accurate now.

My work flow is like this. Every picture I process, I start with the camera calibrator, then lens correction (I have the 16-35 which almost certainly need to use this), CA correction. After these are done then I go to the exposure tweaks and curves. Sharpening, clarity, saturation and WB all leave to the end of processing.

I am still exploring the LR. I have only been using it for a few months :) I certainly can feel the difference when processing D600 files vs D7000 files. The D600 gives so much more possibilities than the D7k files (I have been pulling out old files to process too)

Share a recent picture. Sky not that favourable, so do bear with me.

Bro it's at Telok Ayer Street, the Thian Hock Temple. You should take a walk there sometime, alot of interesting buildings there other than this temple. Try going after 5pm. Before that it's full of tourist.

I just upgrade my computer RAM to maximum possible. I recommend you do it too. Makes processing in LR4 much much easier.

Test shots on new toy...

I wish... But im using an old laptop. Its duo core and 3gb ram running win 7 32-bit. I think 32-bit only support up to 4gb of ram. im not sure if lightroom performance will improve much with just 1 gb more ram...

Whats ur comp specs?

Mine is i5 64bit 8gb ram, the maximum possible. It is just enough. Was on 2gb ram previously and system keeps hanging. Now it works well after the upgrade. If yours is 32bit win 7, max can only go to 4gb ram. I will still get it up to max, every bit counts :)

64-bit is always needed for 8GB of RAM and i5 or i7 processor is more than enough, plus computers nowadays are getting cheaper. Mine is i7 processor,64-bit and has 8GB RAM, so there is no lag when using photoshop or lightroom. 8GB is usually more than enough.

Bro, what lens did you use?

I was using the 16-35 VR. For this type of structure, I have to do quite a bit of distortion correction in post. Still have a bit but I'll just leave it as it is :)
