I've been told that Nikon's ViewNX2 can process RAW. In any case, I convert them into TIFF and processed in LR.

well Adobe just relaease a Nikon D600 Raw support (support for Nikon D600 is preliminary and there is a minor risk that the appearance of your images may change when the final support for Nikon D600 is available in an upcoming release)

You can either buy on Adobe website directly or one of their distributor.

The easiest place to get is in simlim, funan and some epicentre do carry them in stock

The saving is not a lot. Cheapest you can get for D600 body is around $2700. That is already a saving of coming $500+. Who would go for this promo when the len saving is only $200 but must get the body at retail price.

The person who get it must have fail math. Lol

Press Menu button
Press Setup menu: Camera Setup
Go down the option list, you will find AF fine-tune.

I don't own a D600, I read the online manual. :bsmilie:

hi all

seems that one cannot change the focus screen in D600, am i right? i hope i am wrong.. considering using manual lenses..

Hi all experts on this thread...is the flash sync speed for d600 is 1:200 or 1:250? ... i set for 1:250 on the flash setting menu and it still works... & actually there is an asterisk on the 1:250 flash sync speed menu ... what does that means ... ?

Has anyone bought and tried the WU-1b wireless transmitter for the D600?

Hi All,

I have just bought the D600, together witht the 3G fixed lens, 28G 1.8. 50G 1,8 and 85G 1.8. Fantastic camera and lens!!! Moving on from X-Pro1, the D600 is definitely more high tech and feature-packed.

The manual is so thick and the features are so "complicated". Would appreciate if clubsnappers can share their favourite features and settings. Thanks so much!!!

Congratulations. I will buy what you have bought 6 months later. By then, you will be sharing with me your favourite features and settings. Cheers.:)

Thanks :) Was looking for "micro AF" , so it known as "AF fine tune"
Thanks again !

it seems that the D600 with its lower mega pixel count can use lower end lenses and still stay sharp
in comparison to the D800, my tests so far looks promising

it is possible to get good results with sloppy techniques with a D600,
while shooting with the D800, one has to be careful and practice good shooting techniques

I am not saying that the D800 is bad, just that the extra pixels capture so much details that it is easier to see them

In Hokkien, we call that ......... LPPL ........ :p

just collected mine today! hooray :)

GGS for D600 still have wait sometime :)
