D600, D800 prices

Just noticed the listed price for D600 on the NS-website is now $2999/.... used to be >$3k not so long ago. This would mean street price will be lowered accordingly?

BKK here still selling ard 72,000 baht. Selling 90,000 for d kit lens set.

Well, the street prices of the Nikon D600 has gone down from about S$2,650 to S$2,450. It is, however, still a far cry from the prices in HK and the USA, especially considering the latter's Dec rebate deals.

Bought D600 yesterday at Artworkfoto. Good service, friendly guys, and the price was $2,099 body only. At this price i am willing to take a year of risk and pay for my own cleaning.

Well this is an alternative , but guess has to do your own sensor cleaning if u know how to.

That works out to @SGD2050 which is significantly lower than the retail street price quoted here @SGD2450 - is a known fact that nikon products cost 20% more in S'pore than elsewhere?

It has been the case for quite a while already. The going price of the leading dSLRs and lenses are all significantly cheaper elsewhere than Singapore. The price of the Nikon D600 in HK is also in the same S$2,0xx region after conversion. In the USA, the D600 kit was going for US$1,996. Or northern neighbor's prices aren't too shabby either.

I haven't purchased photographic equipment in Singapore for quite a while already. My last purchase was the Nikon D300s and the AF-S 35mm f/1.8G way back in Apr 2010. And oh. The Nikon SB-910 sometime last year. But that was via a special deal... So yeah.

Instant rebates are back for the D800 in the USA, prices are very keen in HK, but Nikon products in Singapore are still significantly costlier. But then again, 10 lucky winners get to fly to Jeju! Haha! I'd take the cash discount though.
