D600, D800 prices

Japan LDP returns to power. Yen exchange rate drops.

new prices now lower:

just to addon a bit.
1 commendable shop @ #4 funan quoted 2488$ or 2499$ (cant recall but its bet 2488 to 2499) cash payment, if cc + 2%, abt 2538$. D800 is about 35xx $ cash (exact cant recall but its about 1k difference with d600)

AND then at another shop @ MSQ, was quoted 2640$ for any mode of payment!

Hopefully there will be less issues with oil and dust by then.

Maybe mirror will not flip up when Nikon is so afraid to apply oil in future product.

By then maybe no more mirror..lol

Maybe Nikon should ask Canon, Pentax or Sony which lubricant they use. ;)

Nikon quality control is a letdown. Pixel problems in early batch of D7000, Left AF focus problem in D800, and now Dust and Oil in D600.

Goes the same with other brands.... Each has their own problems. Let them fix the problems and move on.

Yup. Thats why. Nothing is perfect. All has its pro n cons. End of the day..as long the problem can be solve. I think its good enough. (just hopefully it dont take them too long..)

Every brand has its own problem. As the Chinese saying goes. "every house has it own problem" :bsmilie:

Very true. No reason to give up on the D600 just because of these problems. They are short term issues that will be fixed in time.
