D60 CHA Message

Pretty sure D60 uses SD card, it was my gf's first DSLR

I had the Nikon D60. Its uses SD cards. Think TS confused here. Encountered the same message before. NSC advised it's due to faulty PCB in card slot. The message definitely appears when there is no card inside but intermittently when a card is in. After sometime, the message disappeared altogether so I didnt send for repairs, esp since it is a bit costly to replace. Could also be due to dirty or poor contacts, or long period of unuse...

Thanks, will take it to a NIKON SC.

For the repair on my old D70s, NSC quoted me $190. Very expensive for a camera model so old.

I strongly recommend you take it to bro fatigue here for a more economical option.

Take a look at the replies posted in your thread and it won't be hard to find out who is fatigue.
